The PMG-1 fire engine began to be produced in 1933, first in Moscow and then in Leningrad. As a result of conversion, the base chassis of the GAZ-AA received a water tank of 146 liters and a large number of fire fighting equipment. Six members of the fire brigade were located on benches along the tank, and the commander and driver were in the cab. The fire engine stood in the service of fire departments until the 60s of the ХХ century.
